IDENTITY: Conflict/Error> Vaughan's 'Llyfr Achau Robert Vaughan, Peniarth 287' page 241: 225E confuses Ithel "Fychan" ab Ithel "Gam" with Ithel "Fychan" ab Ithel "Llwyd". The wives of both men are listed, and the children are all given to Ithel "Fychan" ab Ithel "Llwyd". KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Dwnn's 'Heraldic Visitations of Wales' volume 2 pages 194, and 298 make him the son of his brother Ithel "Llwyd". Page 194 then omits the generation of Ithel "Gam" ap Ithel. KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Lloyd's 'History of the Princes, the Lords Marcher and the Ancient Nobility of Powys Fadog' volume 4 page 345 makes him the son of his brother Ithel "Llwyd". IDENTITY: Circa 1500 Ithel Fychan ab Ithel Gam was being confused with Ithel Fychan ab Ithel Llwyd. By 1550 the wife and all the daughters of the former had been transferred to the latter.
