- (Research):KINSHIP: Investigate> Dwnn's 'Heraldic Visitations of Wales' volume 2 page 101 states he had three sons and 2 daughters.

PROPERTY: Lord of Meirionydd. (Lloyd, History of the Princes, the Lords Marcher and the Ancient Nobility of Powys Fadog, vol. 6 p. 36)
PROPERTY: By an inquisition held at Bala before Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester, Justice of North Wales, the next Monday after the festival of St. Michael, 6 Henry VI, it was found that Einion in the time of Llywelyn ab Iorwerth, Prince of Wales, had all the lands between the Dovi and th Dewlas, and held the Lordship of Meirionydd in capite, from the sons of Cynan ab Owain "Gwynedd". (Lloyd, History of the Princes, the Lords Marcher and the Ancient Nobility of Powys Fadog, vol. 6 p. 36)
REMARKS: In Wales till the middle of the 12th century individuals were styled 'Arglwydd' meaning lord or master.

REMARKS: A elegy to him written by the bard Iorwerth "Cyriog" can be found, written in Welsh, on pages 349-350 of 'Lloyd, History of the Princes, the Lords Marcher and the Ancient Nobility of Powys Fadog' volume 1.
