    • (Research):KINSHIP: Investigate> Vaughan's 'Llyfr Achau Robert Vaughan, Peniarth 287' page 288: 287F calls him first, "Rhirid ap Llywelyn" then inserts "ab Owain ab Alcud" (source: ER 337, 341; secondly it states "Rhirid ab Owain ab Alcud" (source: ER 167). ER being Edward ap Roger of Ruabon's book.
      KINSHIP: Investigate> Glenn's 'Family of Griffith of Garn and Plasnewydd in the County of Denbigh' page 43 gives him five additional sons, the only source so far to do this. They are Dafydd, Philip, and Gwilym, all of Chwittfordd, and Cynwrig and Ednyfed, both of Calcot.
