    • (Research):MARRIAGE: Investigate> 'Reitwiesner, 'Children of Joan, Princess of North Wales', The Genealogist', Spring 1980 volume 1 number 1 page 92 footnote 28 states "NCP 6:462-63 ntoe (n) states that Isabella married secondly Piers FitzHerbert, but this seems to be not only false but impossible.....Piers died between 19 May and 6 Jun 1235, NCP 5:465 note (d) and could not have married the widow of Dafydd, who died in 1246. Vernon M. Norr, Some Early English Pedigrees (Arlington, Va., 1968), p. 35 attempts to salvage this marriage by showing Piers as first husband and Dafydd as second, but this is equally impossible, since Isabella married Dafydd in 1230 and Piers died in 1235."
