(Lloyd, History of the Princes, the Lords Marcher and the Ancient Nobility of Powys Fadog, vol. 1 p. 362) REMARKS: He was guardian along with Roger Mortimer, of Llywelyn and Gruffudd, Llywelyn being the heir of Dinas Brân and the lordships of Bromfield and Iâl when he came of age. They both were murdered by drowning under Holt Bridge in 1281 by their guardians.
