- RESIDENCE: Wyston. (Dwnn, Heraldic Visitations of Wales, vol. 1 p. 70)
RESIDENCE: West Hall. (Evans, British Genealogist, book 1 p. 117)
(Research) KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Dwnn's 'Heraldic Visitations of Wales' volume 1 pages 42, 106, and 108 insert an extra generation between John and his son Harry called Sir John Wogan, Knight, married to Joan daughter of Sir John Joyce, Lord of Prendergast. 'Welsh Genealogies makes this John a William and brother to John.
(Research) KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Dwnn's 'Heraldic Visitations of Wales' volume 1 page 90 omits this generation of John, but includes his wife Agnes Wiriot.
(Research) KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Dwnn's 'Heraldic Visitations of Wales' volume 1 page 106 gives him a son Thomas.
(Research) KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Griffith's 'Pedigrees of Anglesey and Carnarvonshire Families' page 294 makes him the son of his grandfather and the great grandson of his father, thus scrambling the generations.
(Research) KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Thomas' 'Golden Grove MS' book 12 page K1394 makes him the son of his grandfather Mathew, thus omitting the generation of John from the name string.
