| Notes |
- RESIDENCE: Tyleglas. (Evans, British Genealogist, book 4 p. D131)
KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Dwnn's 'Heraldic Visitations of Wales' volume 1 page 45 makes him the son of his grandfather Philip ap Richard.
KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> 'British Genealogist' book 2 page B93 and book 5 page E11 make him the son of his grandfather Philip ap Richard, thus omitting the generation of Gwilym. This pedigree also repeats this generation. First is "Philip Vychan of Tyleglâs m. Mary d. of Thomas Gwilym Jenkin", then next generation "Philip Vaughan m. Maud d. of Sir Thomas de Barry, knt".
KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Evans' 'British Genealogist' book 7 page G1 and book 8 page H90 make him the son of his grandfather Philip, thus omitting the generation of Gwilym from the name string.
(Research) KINSHIP: Conflict/Error> Thomas' 'Golden Grove MS' book 1 page A110 gives him a daughter who married "Thos Odbury".
