  • Notes
    • According to records of the Newburg Church of God Graveyard, James Alzona Rea was a son of "J. A. and Elizabeth Rea." This is confirmed by the 1860 census of Hopewell Township, Cumberland County, which shows James A. Rea, age 7, living with John Allen Rea and his wife Elizabeth, as well as siblings William, Melissa, and Edgar. However, his burial record shows his date of death as 25 July 1869, which is nine years after the 1860 census, in which he's already 7 years old. Since he was born in 1859, he died at the age of ten. If he was 7 in 1860 and died at 10, then his date of death should be in 1863, not 1869. So, either there was an error made by the census taker or by Newburg Church of God.
