| Notes |
- Thomas was a carpenter. His name is misspelled "Ray" on his headstone, which is one of those found in the Rea family plot at Riverside Cemetery in Oshkosh. This is the same cemetery plot where Thomas' brother James would later be buried, in 1894.
Thomas apparently went to Wisconsin ahead of his younger brother, James. He died there January 8, 1852, according to his headstone at Riverside Cemetery in Oshkosh. So, James and Lucinda arrived in Oshkosh sometime after their marriage, April 11, 1852.
Thomas and James probably lived with one or the other of their older brothers, John or Robert, Jr. after their father's death. Thomas would have been 18 at the time and James was 17, John 31 and Robert, Jr., 28.
